Consistent winner and place getter at Training to Novice Horse Trials (top 10 finish in 60% of starts in three years of Eventing).

Placed 9th at 1-star 3DE in December 2009:

  • 51 starters.
  • 65.8% dressage
  • Clear with just 4 time faults cross country.
  • Unlucky rail at very last fence show jumping after a lovely round over tough, twisty long course.
  • 59.3 final score.

11 Horse Trial Points.

Qualified successfully with young rider for 6yo Show Jumping Champs final at HOYS 2007 and competed there at their first 1.30m class.

Very technically correct jumper with great technique. Careful but bold.

Three lovely paces and always produces a consistent, calm, accurate dressage test. Scored 75% first time in arena when he won his first Training Horse Trial. Consistently scored in high 60s and 70s since then with a variety of riders. Judges comments include:

  • Lovely horse.
  • Nicely supple with engagement and active.

Light and confident.

Regularly scores 8s and even 9s in collective marks.

Good-looking, eye-catching horse. Great opportunity for someone wanting to have a horse with consistent good results in Eventing, but also able to show jump, dressage, show and probably hunt – as they wish.

Lovely nature, easy horse. Snaffle in all three phases, no martingale.

By Haajiisan out of My Alibi who is by Sound Reason. Born 8th September 2000.

Fully vetted, including x-rays and scope in 2007.

Note: Novice Horse Trial level in New Zealand equates to Preliminary Horse Trial level in the USA.
